does anybody know how to turn on the SRS light on the gauge cluster without having the drivers side airbag for a 94 integra because i have a JDM racing stewering wheel with no airbag on my it & because i failed inspection because the light didnt turn on . . . . help please

 

hmm that's interesting..If the srs harness is plugged into the cluster is should come on..Have you double checked that?

You could do something illegal and dodgy by hooking it up to one of the other lights power source in the dash.

Thats what a few people do when they import cars that had air bags that had gone off and cant afford to replace them and get the car inspected and re vinned.

 

Just unplug the yellow SRS harness from the gauge cluster and your light will never go on.

 

but i want the light to turn on & i dont know how . i have a racing stearing wheel on my teg w. no airbag. so how do i make it turn on without the stock steering wheel?

 

wire up the srs bulb to the check engine light, That way it will turn on for a few secs when you first click the ignition on.

Pull the cluster out, Solder some wires onto the CEL(check engine light) bulb then run them to the SRS bulb,
Its easyer using a non stock LED which doesnt use the SRS blubs connection points so then you dont need to worry about cutting the traces. But the only problem then is mounting the bulb so you will need to use some silicon or glue to hold it in place.

If your not good with electronics ask a friend that is and they should be able to do it in a few secs. Or take it to a electricians and ask them to wire the SRS to the CEL bulb.
