I'm trying to find a solution to shutting off my SRS light, I have a 99 civic si, the stock steering wheel with the airbag in it, has been replaced with a aftermarket momo Italy steering wheel, without an airbag, causing my SRS light to be on constantly on my gauge cluster.

Although, my car is a 99 Si, (True Si, No clone) the previous Asian owner replaced the gauge cluster with a EX manual cluster, for what reason? I couldn't tell you, I asked him and he said it was a "sleeper", but he clearly didn't know the meaning behind "sleeper".

Does anybody know a way to shut the SRS light off, without returning to stock wheel, and replacing the airbag module.

I know I read on clubcivic a while back on a way to do it. But, don't remember the process because it didn't retain to me at the time, know I can't find this anywhere.

If anybody has any knowledge on this, please let me know.

I had the same issue and really could not figure out how to do it.

So I resulted to pulling the cluster out and removing the wire plug that allows the srs light to illuminate. Probably not the preferred method, but then again it did the trick.

from what i have heard is pull the fuse to the srs

the whole idea is to keep the pass side working.
