Me and my buddy just spapped a B18 into a 1995 Civic. everything went smoothly and it runs. But it has a lump in the idle. and only revs to 2500 rpm. I re-wired the ecu and made sure everything was going to the right places. We replaced practically every sensor on the thing and it still wont run. PLEASE IF ANYBODY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS REPLY!!! Or if anybody can give me any informatino on anything i could do i would really appreciate it!!!

 

C'mon man, this is an easy one. You have the classic symptom: only revs to 2500rpm. Your ECU is bad. Pick up another one and try it.

yeah id try another ecu. any one you have laying around should at least make it start and rev past 2500 rpms

 

make sure your wiring on the distributor is correct!

my friend had the exact same problem and it turned out we had two wires mixed up
