Default rpm cuts off at 3500.....

I've put a B18C in my EG (1992 civic hb).
The check engine is still on. The ECU gives me 2 codes :
1- 04 : crankshaft position
2- 10 : IAT

And... it cuts off at 3500 of rpm....

What could it be???

We've tried my ECu on an other B18C and we've tried my "distributor" (sorry.. i don't know if that is the word in english) on it also.

Could someone help me on this please ?

the code 04 is putting you in limp mode wher you cant rev past 3500 you need to figure out the problem. sounds like you instaled the dist upside down.

If I wrere you I would fully make sure the ECU wires are on the ECU Pins. You have to remember when pulling the ECU you shgould unclip ity and pull it out by the plugnot the wires. Over time these wires come loose and throw codes like you are seeing.

I try the distributor and the ECU on another 5G with Gsr and was working fine It`s a stupid problem, but very hard to find That could be a bad connection, but his boyfriend verify each wiring one by one ?? This is possible that the timing belt slip ? That coulb be a open wires ground somewhere to the body Please help us
