My friend has a 92 civic lx that won't start. The motor is getting spark, distributor (igniter and coil) is good, check all fuses, any suggestions maybe a main relay????

 

yep, a common on all hondas.

try this:

insert the key in the ignition, turn the key on without cranking the motor.

listen closely as you may here the fuel pump kick in.

it should sound like a deep hum and a light click. should last only for a few seconds.

if you don't hear it, chances are the main relay.

this method is one way without go to a local mech charging a few to check everything.

if not, suggest someone certified mechanic to look at it.

did you try swapping the relays?? that might help you solve your problem
