i like kyokugens and theyre inexpensive too...if youve got some expensive rims id get the mcgards...i love both of them...oh yeah and they both come in black

I thought those Kyokugen lug nuts were the $hit! They were lighter then I could believe. I was just about to buy some until I fould out that two of my friends stripped them.

BTW, I have had no problems with stripping my splinedrives, and I have had to use a 2 foot pipe on a breaker bart after the goons at tires plus used air tools to torque down the lugs to triple digit levels

I would have to disagree. Kyukogen lugs nuts are great, but the key that comes with them is the biggest piece of **** I have ever worked with. Im surprised other people havent come forward with there horror stories about these keys. All my friends have stripped there keys trying to either get there lugs off, or put them on. I just got rid of my kyukogen lugs, and picked up a set of Gorillas for the time being. So far so good.

my kyokugen nuts are fine, never had a problem with them as long as you follow the torque specs, and dont over torque them like some kind of gorilla

same here, i've had them for almost a year. not once had a problem with them.
i never used a air gun, just a torque wrench. i've taken my tires off more than 50 times or so.

hell, i changed my oil once a month and rotate my tires once a month.

paitence and the proper torque, you shouldn't have the problems.

i would have to say the mcgard spline drives...not only do they offer more security than the other ones (spline drive and lock combo), but they dont weigh too much, triple nickel coated or something and guaranteed never to rust (my gorrillas are all chipped and rusty), plus the seating area rotates so they wont damage your rims even if you over tighten them. only problem is they cost about twice as much as the other two i think ($79 bucks?) ...they even come in black if thats ur preference hehe

dont get me wrong i like kyokugens and gorillas too (the gorillas didnt rust till after a few years), but if i had to pick one id pick the mcgards. oh yeah, and the honda locks are actually mcgard locks that are repackaged in honda packaging.
