Default quick after valve adjust help

ok my head was just rebuilt z6, so i checked the valves to make sure they were right and it turns out the exhaust valve were too tight. so i loosened them up a bit using about 0.010 gauge. now at about 2500 rpm i can hear this faint grind noise. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

the car runs fine even better than it did just concerned about the noise
heard most when at 2500-3000 when i push in the clutch and let off the gas.

the z6 engine is not a zero valve clearance engine wich means ur valves wont hit just in case u were wondering.. i took my z6 head to the machine shop and they resurfaced the head but screwed around with my valves and the lash. when i got it back is was all out of wack but they said it was cool so i just put it on. long story short i had them open when they shouldnt of and my car still ran. i then adjusted them when i figured it out and car runs like a champ now.

seriously? that sounds like something other than a valve problem. sounds like a bearing noise to me.
