Default first time boosting, few questions

ok i might sound stupid, but this is my first time boosting. its a 95 coupe with a d16

i purchased all parts i need for a boost (intercooler, piping, turbocharger, bov, turbo mani, wastegate, downpipe, oil feed lines and vacuum lines, and a fmu)

do i need a new intake mani?
do i need a new radiator?
can i drive with kit on and not boost, to save gas (like push all the exhaust out through the wastegate)?

This is probably better covered in the forced induction forum. But to answer some of your questions, no need for a new intake manifold or radiator. The only way to not be in boost is to keep your foot off the gas pedal.

you will still get good gas milage if it is tuned well and if you stay out of boost until you really wanna go. considering your turbo wont spool til probaly 4-4500 rpm it shouldnt be hard

It's a honda... You'll always get good gas mileage... Why boost a d16 though? And what size turbo are you running, if you know, someone can tell you aprox. when you'll hit boost.

Damn honda kids...
