thicker head gasket on gsr block
has any one ran a thicker head gasket with a gsr block on boost with stock sleeves? if so what was the turn out and what turbo setup did u run
Well im running a poor mans type r i have rev dual valve springs and valves skuck 2 stage two cams 70 mm throt body 440cc injectors 255 wb fuel pump full port and polishskunk 2 intakemanifold cp 11.5 - 1 pistons gsr cranks oem main bearings type r rods 4-2-1 header hondata s200 running 93 fuel maybe going with e85 to run more boost................
if you're going to boost you need bigger injectors, and if you're going with E-85 you need twice the injectors you have.... E-85 allows you to run cooler and boost more due to it being less combustible and needing more fuel to get to the same power levels. You need to find the thickest gasket that Golden Eagle makes. I think 2MM is the thickest there is...? Good luck.

yeah runnin a thicker head gasket is the easiest, cheapist way to lower compression even on a high compression motor you can also lower your compression even more if your a hell of a tuner with your timing.....
personally on a poor man set up no more than 10 DD 14 every once and a while based upon solely that he only lowers CP by usin the gasket no its not the prefered way yes it is affordable yes it will last as a "blow off the beemer on the way to the grocery store" but i personally wouldnt run a poor mans turbo if i was going to boost i would do it right the first time thats why i didnt boost mine cus i know i wouldnt build it the way i wanted it built so i held off and went NA and i still beat the beemers to the grocery store
s300 hondata and 750cc with 91 octane

that will do it and some time on the dyno./. but those 3 things will get you there
with out that head gasket. i've seen it done before and im doing it right know.
i would run no more then 6PSI, but it will be fast as hell just with that.
