Default new engine

hey everybody. Well I think it's about time for a new engine in my civic (94 civic ex) and have been going back and forth between a motor swap or just a stock replacement. I came across this on craigslist http://sacramento.craigslist.o....html and wanted to get an opinion on it and if the price sounds ok. Please let me know what you think. Thanks
Justin

idk that is kinda pricey for a longblock and tranny...you will still need the dizzy, throttle body, wiring harness, and an ecu (which should be chipped on an ls/v). IMO i wouldnt buy someone elses ls/v simply cuz they are touchy and its just like buying someones boosted car/swap. and think about it...it was fully built which could mean he messed it up bad and wanted to rebuild it. so like i said....i wouldnt personally do it unless i could get it cheaper. for $1700 you could almost get a full gsr swap.

He said that it was built strictly for his track car but ended up loosing interest. If what he said is true, the motor was never blown up. Also he's claiming that is should be around 255hp...

he doesnt give a price. just thats its over 2000. imo i wouldnt buy an already built motor. you should build one yourself so you know its legit.

Obviously inferior to a Honda motor of course. Honda motors run over nine thousand days without any sort of maintenance whatsoever, not even fuel fillups!

sike. ooh, a corvette motor( i think?). honda owns everything when it comes to gas mileage = power ratio. when it comes to 4 wheel gasoline combustion vehicles.

that civic with the corvette motor on here handles like **** and isnt really that fast.
I would personally build a B-Series or a K-Series on boost.
that depends how much you can spend. and how well you are at building and knowledge.

You're an idiot.

We have turbo ls1 and ls6 vettes and camaros that get 30mpg.

You learned something today.

Now go back to jerking off to pictures of $2000 toda headers for your single cam.
