What mounts do you have? My HASport mounts vibrate, considerably more when the temperature drops and the polyurethane gets cold. The grind into 5th is most likely a synchro. Mine does that too.

You will notice the vibration more at idle or stopped. Check what kind of mounts are in it. I wouldn't be overly concerned, it doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary. The only way to fix the grind is to replace the synchro's.

Or maybe the balance shaft belt was removed, or if the previous owner removed the belt he/she didn't aligned the balance shafts properly.

Since its a swap its possible the balance shaft was eliminated. The balance shaft is supposed to help with vibration. Though many claim they do not notice a difference with it not in place.

i removed my balance shaft belt yesterday and afterwards when I drove it, it seemed to vibrate less than usual, I have Innovative race mounts with 75a bushings, it normally virbrates a good bit at idle after a few minutes of driving.

thats almost impossible. ur motor would be at a tint and u would have noticed before. i broke a ount and my motor was tilted down like crazy. if there is no mount in there dont drive the car.

The HASport mounts, and I think some others, eliminate the upper motor mount on the passengers side, no big deal. There should be a mount/plate bolted to the transmission, then to the lower motor mount (frame). Most H22 mounts in an EG only run three mounts, rear, lower passenger side, and upper driver's side.
