wheel spacer removal?
Got involved in a hit and run yesterday.
Trying to swap on some steelies because my rims were damaged.
Anyway, when I bought my rims / tires the shop put a wheel spacer on and I can't seem to get it off?
Little ring that is on the center of my hub, i've tried pulling it, beating it with a hammer, prying it ... nothing.
Steelies wont fit unless I get this removed, any help?

Is it metal or plastic? It sounds almost like it is a very tight fitting metal piece and practically press-fitted on. You may just need to pry harder - or cut it with a chisel if you don't intend to reuse it.
What he was trying to remove is called a 'hub-centric ring'. Wheels are either 'hub-centric' or 'lug-centric'. Hub centric means that the hub centric ring centers the wheel on the hub, and lug centric means the lug nuts center the wheel on the hub. If the wheel is NOT centered on the hub correctly, you will have a vibration.
