vtec..problem.. help!

Default vtec..problem.. help!

every time i hit vtec at 5500 rpm its seems the car is choking, my oil is good any idea what would be the cause?... 00 civic si....

plugged injectors? I had this problem once. But that was a weird one.

what do u mean plugged injectors?.... u mean cloged?... i dont think my injectors are bad....

You didn't put in the special vtec oil in the vtec solenoid did ya?

does your car burn oil? this happened to me, and my car burned so much oil that the oil pressure was just at the point where it was sufficient and insufficient for vtec at different rpms, so vtec would go on and off.

i took it off this morning and cleaned it.. i test drove it again and still doing the same damn thing.... my oil is good the vtec kick BUT it seems that the car choke everytime it hit... dont know why... o yeah what Vtck oil u talking about?

did you check all your spark plug wires, and wen was the last time you changed them?? see i had the same problem and it turned out to be that one of the plugs was worn out and it wasnt sending a spark to the piston

if it duz it quite a bit dont rule out the tps sensor it can get worn out and give you choking
and dieing out conditions even can seem like a misfire and will [freak] ur vtec all up my advice it to test it or if you dont know how try to get a honda buddy with some know how to help
