Hey guys, so the raining season already started and my windows fog hella bad. I've had the car for a year already, but last raining season I didn't drive that much, but now I'll be driving alot and my car has no A/C. I already tried some anti-fog solution and nothing.
My car is a 1996 Civic HX.
really sucks not having A/C.
BTW, the rear defroster works. But the side windows and the winshield fog really bad.
Help me out guys, I'll appreciated
Thanks in advanced

to tell you the truth you can try this paintball spary that they use on the googles which works really great for paintballing its called.........fog off
i think thats the only thing i can actualluy think of worth trying its like 5.99 for a medium small sized bottle but like i said that it works great for paintballing so it should work for your car

I used the Rain-X anti fog and it started fogging worse. I couldn't fix it, but I guess it "fixed" itself when the car got totaled.
Look for a leak in the car. Fogging inside the car often means standing water. Also make sure the carpeting and upholstery are all dry and that the vents are left closed when you're not driving the car.

you might try looking under the rugs for water/rain getting inside, use your heater on defrost setting with recirculate inside air on. Other than that some of the suggestions for the fog-off etc should work. Make sure your windows are celan before applying any of them. Get one of those synthetic water soaking sheets from the auto stores, they work much better then a rag for soaking up the condensation on the windows.
GET A/C is your best bet.

X2, when my A/C wasn't working this summer I had to roll down the windows every time it rained. Once I started getting wet i'd roll them up till I couldn't see, then roll them down again. Not a fun way to drive IMO.

why doesnt your ac work? do you need a new compressor or just a recharge? Because neither are expensive. Depending on where u live go on CL and find one, I see parts like that on miami CL for ~$50 all the time. And a recharge is ~$40.
There is in fact an alternate way to defrost the windshield and side windows!!! put in in defrost , then switch the temperature lever to hot.. u may sweat a lil but i know this for a fact to work...

I needed one new line and a rechanrge, held off for a long time because i was gonna have to pull the evaperator to replace my heater core. I've since fixed everything, works great now.
