nitrous on built ls/vtec

will a tuned 75 wetshot nitrous be safe on a fully built ls/vtec motor . pr3-3 head, 14:1 compression? most likely ill be using 110 octane race gas.

yeah thats what i though, but my friend who knows alot about honda engines told me it should be no problem and that it should run cool.

tell your friend hes on crack u want to run nitrous through on a motor with 14:1 compression ratio. it might work once the second time i say it blows.

haha. yea. even if its sleeved? what if i do 13:1 ? he said he ran a 14:1 with 100 wet shot a while back and it ran cool for a loong time.

I say thats still risky on it.. I would run nitrous on it from 11.5:1 to 12:1.

that's on a tuned chip for nitrous though..
