Default Nitrous ?

Would it be good to run nitrous off the LS motor with 12:1 compression?

i would say no, unless you have forged internals and a blockguard or sleeve. but you can try and let us know what happens :D

nitrous loves high compression, but that may be a little too much. try running the smallest shot possible and have a damn good tuner.

I highly reccomend the Zex Sport Compact Dry system. I bought the kit saturday for my 91 LS. Very Very I mean Very, Easy to install. Comes with everything you need, 55 shot (no timing retard) 65 shot (2 degrees retard) 75 shot (4 degrees retard)

I havent put nitrous threw my car yet since the bottle came empty and its the weekend

Zex blows, its a good beginner kit, but if you want to make power, stay away from it...A zex 55 shot is more like a 25-35 shot

if the OP does decide to squeeze then purchase a wet system

dry systems have the potential to lean out your air to fuel mixture and blow p your engine

yes I have, which is why I'm saying what I'm saying..Ive owned a Zex kit, NX kit, and used a NOS kit

NX and NOS took large dumps all over Zex on the same jetting (55-50 shot, and 75 shot) Zex's jetting is weak, you can swap jets but I'm talking from just strictly the kits

So its the jets o0o im running the smallest jets the Zex kit comes with, No idea how my car will react.

Are the other NX and NOS kits as easy to install as Zex?
