Default wiring amp to be able to switch from car to car.

in my tc i have a kicker l5 and a mtx audio 1300 or something like that, heres my situation i want to switch it from car to car, so im going to mount the amp to side of box but i need some type of female connector to put on the 8 gauge main power wire, and other wires, (the ignition wont be a problem) so i keep it from shorting out while its not in the car...

anyone have experience with this, i was searching hard on the enet and found nothing.

Have both cars wired for 12v. power, ground, remote lead, and RCA's.

Remove the fuse from the fusible link prior to removal of the amp/box combo.
After you've re-installed the amp/box combo and have connected the 12v. power, ground, RCA's and remote lead to it, put the fuse back in.

In the vehicle that does not have the box/amp in it, just leave the fuse out of the fusible link. No power = no short.
