Default No power to subs

I was playing my system and suddenly the subs stopped getting power and no bass at all. I checked the speaker wire from my amp to the box and it was fine. I checked the RCA and it was good. The amp is still powering on and just the subs is not getting any power. The cd player sub controls are fine and I figure it could be the wiring inside the box but not very confident about that. Anything else I can check before going inside the box?

If you didn't check the wiring in the box, how do you know the subs are getting power?

well..if you cant find nothing..and your amp is powered...your amp might have blown...check its fuses..if they're fine..its internal board is fried...make sure no wires are touching each other...

this happened to me awhile back...luckily i had warranty on the amp...Good Luck..let me know if you solve the problem!

If my amp was blown, would I be able to smell it? Never seen it happen before. I wish I had a meter so I can test if there was power but I'm in college and can't get a meter. The fuses in the amp were all fine, so if those were good then wouldn't my amp still be fine?

not really...my MTX 8302 was blown...it still powered on...and the fuses were fine...try hooking your amp up to some small speakers to see if a signal goes through..if it does..then its your sub...if not..it could be what i described...your internal board is fried...

you might be right too...when mine did fry...i smelt a smell...but just make sure you double check everything..and that no wires touch...like i said..try another speaker..if it still doesnt have a signal--->then its your amp...
