Default obd1 swap into an ek too complicated, swap out harness for obd1?? INSIDE AND OUT!

ok so ive been asking around about swapping an obd1 engine into my ek. i read over the sticky above, and it was great... and complicated... so my friend suggested i swap out my harness for an obd1 harness, cant do it right? well what if i swap out my interior harness for an obd1 harness also?!?! will that work?? is it possible at all? tell me what you think.

just use your stock ENGINE harness and just add the vtec vtec pressure knock wires

Theoretically possible, but not worth doing. Its far, far easier to swap components to OBD2.
