You connected the power antenna lead to the amplifiers turn on lead, there should be a amp remote on the deck that remains powered up when the deck is on. Power antenna is usualy blue, amp turn on blue/white stripe

Did you just have the amp or system installed recently, or was the sub working on radio and CD and then stop? Is it a factory deck or aftermarket?

What I was refering to is the remote leads on the back of the head unit. Many decks have two leads, one for the power antenna, and one for the amplifier. The antenna lead (blue) supplies 12v + when the radio is on, the amplifier lead (blue/white stripe) has 12v + with radio and CD, or basicaly when the head unit is on to make easy.

If you have the antenna lead hooked up to the sub amp remote turn on lead, it will only work when the tuner or radio is on.

Yes, take the amp "remote" lead to the blue/white and not the blue, should solve your problem!
