well i hooked up my system and its sounds great, but one problem it will not work for the cds it only kicks on for the radio. what could it be?

 

i think you have the remote turn on for the amp hooked up to the power antenna wire, that on puts out power if the radio is on, raising a power antenna. your cd player should have a power constant or amp turn on usually there blue wires check a few other wires of the deck

 

He's probably right. You have a Sony or a Kenwood deck right.

Im not understanding what your asking?if your asking if i have a amp yes. And im also not understanding what the first guy said, can you guys put it in simple terms.the car is a 88 civic if that matter, but the wiring is new.

 

Are your speakers running off the deck or are the connected to a separate amplifier.

 

running off the amp, there two tens and a memphis amp. and a aiwia deck.
