Default Weird amp/deck problem

I just installed my amp and sub (480 watt explode, 10" pioneer sub) everthing worked fine for about 5 minutes and then I started having this problem. When the deck is on radio as a source, the amp turns on (green light) but no sound will come from the sub, when I change the source to cd, the amp shuts off, and the cd deck thinks that there is no cd in (there is) and it won't eject it.

Keep in mind, before I hooked all this up everthing worked fine, including the deck

If anyone has any clue as to what may be causing this please let me know, I am completely baffeled.

Thanks

first check your amp turm on wire. It should be a blue or a blue white off of the deck. This wire should have roughly 12 volts when the deck is on (with source being cd or radio). If the wire looses power when you switch from radio to cd source then you have hooked to the wrong wire, that is power antenna not amp turn on! If you have no clue, then just hook your wire from your amp (amp turn on) to the red wire off of the deck (keyed power). hope this helps!!

I know it is hooked up to the right wire. the thing is after I got it hooked up everything worked fine for about 5 minutes, and then for some reason went to crap

plus the amp turns on when on radio, but nothing plays from the speakers it is hooked up to
