Default Sluggish d16 issue

whats the most common problems to make a d16z6 feel like its always hill climbing at low rpms? TDC is good? what else can it be? or what sensors would be a huge factor?..need help asap

take a timing light to it and make sure its at 16*. Change plugs wires, plugs, cap, rotor button, fuel filter, air filter?

please be a lil more specific..... have you done a fuel press. and volume test? checked for a clogged cat. conv.?? i.. have you looked at the integrity of the secondary ignition on an oscilloscope??? when the car is cold , hot.... details my friend ,, details

also check and make sure the timing marks are dead on!! having retarded cam timing will have the same symptom!! has the cyl head been milled or "cut"??....

i think the head was milled slightly, it was rebuilt w/ new everything..as far as he test you mentioned i have not done

it idles ok, but when i somewhat feather the gas and let go rpms drop really low to the point it wants to die out..the car will suck alot of air but just lacking that power

Check to make sure that your TPS and MAP sensors are not switched around, also Do you have your IAT sensor hooked up? What injectors are you using?

i checked the tps and map switched them to make sure.. which one is the IAT again?

im using the d15b injectors.. i used the putting a screwdriver method to listen to them opening and closing and it sounded ok??

but seriously it sounds like you just have the IAT and MAP sensor connections swapped...its a common mistake....I'll be over in the morning to take a look though
