Default Oil Leak, HELP!

I have a b16a2. So I got my head back from the machine shop. I put everything back together. When I started the car it started to POUR out oil, under the distributor side. It looks to me like it is coming from between the head and the block. What do you think it is?

no headgasket leaks oil check your dizzy o-ring or a bad cam seal pics would help my buddy EK had an oil leak that shevled on the top of the block where it would kinda look like it was coming fom the head but it was a $7 o-ring instead of a $500 top end overhaul

Actually it can come from the head gasket .... a buddy of mine floated his vlaves replaced the springs and bent valves put the HG on the wrong way and when he started it OIL shot all over the place. So it is possible make sure the head gasket is on correctly and make sure you are using the correct head gasket for your motor.

I know I am using the right head gasket. If it was on wrong wouldn't oil leak from all around the head? If you are facing the car it is just leaking out from the left, towards the corner, under the intake side between the head and the block. I would say that it is more of a steady pour instead of a leak. I lost about 2.5 quarts of oil in about 5 seconds. And when i shut the car off it stoped leaking.

I'm with him on this one. Did you put the valve cover gasket on correctly. IDK, is the Vtec solenoid gasket in there.

Sorry but you have to pretty bad to put the HG on backwards.
