alright well heres the deal i am building up money for a DOHC V tec swap in my 98EJ6 hatch which for those of you that dont know is OBD2a......now i started off i was gonna buy this one GSr from this guy i know and then i decided not to because way tooo many miles and it and right now i thinking about and want to buy this H22a from a sponsor on here but i know its and expensive swap and hard to do for my car but is a good deal for it............

heres the deal since i dont have more than i 1000 dollars right now i want some ideas from everyone that wants to help me out what kinda DOHC vtec swap that i should or could do for not a whole lot im looking for maybe 2500 max for everything with the swap in my car thats how much i hope to spend to buy a motor and put it in my car for by the way me and some guys at a local garage are gonna put it in my car please help would be really appreciated

No replacement for displacement...or torque, which you're gonna have lots of if you swap in the H. My vote is the H22.

It may be tought to get a B VTEC swap done for $2500, especially if you have to pay for help.

Save up more $ ?

well paying to get help i not counting that now i wanna do that H22a but i havent seen it in person i trust him that it runs its just the drive down to get it now my problem with that swap is the thing with the Harness,ecu,axels,and mounts and anything else i might need now i know i need an ecu adapter its on HAsport.com for 130 its an OBD2a to a OBD1 ecu adapter for my car then there is the HAsport H series mounts for 595 that i know i need also now what do i do bout axels and where can i get good ones cus i want something that can be good up to 500hp even though i wont get there anytime soon i dont want to replace axels everytime i feel like cracking v tec so wut can i do and is there anything else i need for the swap in my ek

If you want to get a swap for under 1k, your not. Unless you get a D. Save and go to http://www.hmotorsonline.com a complete H22a

-brand new phenolic thermal intake gasket, worth $50
-no intake manifold
-engine wiring harness
-H22 starter
-H22 alternator
-H22 distributor and wires with good cap and rotor
-all engine/tranny mounts
-intake manifold bracket, bolts, accesories, and sensors
-halfshaft
-timing belt plastic covers
-everything between the valve cover and oil pan
-engine has about 80,000 miles on it and was pulled from a well running car. -engine has not been taken apart.
