Default What is VTo and VTi from V-AFC?

Hello,

Could anybody tells me what is VTo and VTi from the V-AFC ?
I know they are showing when does the VTEC kicks in, but why there are 2 indications?

One is from ECU and one is from the V-AFC itself?
Are they should be ON at the same time when the VTEC kicks in?

Please give me a clue please

first off, throw the VAFC as far as you can... they do nothing but look pretty and screw up the engine.

I'm guessing but I'd bet
VTo = VTEC out
VTi = VTEC in
the VTEC signal from the ECU runs into VTi, and the solenoid is controlled with VTo.

one could be on when the other is off, depending on how you have the unit set.

butt dynos are not very accurate.

there are all kinds of threads on here why VAFCs are bad, I'm not going to get into it.
