Default b20 turbo or bored out b18c turbo vs supercharger

hey guys am currently running b18c with a b16a head and some other modification with a vortec supercharger.on the dyno last time and i got 240whp on 9psi but we kept getting a check light so we stop tuning.
both the dyno and the tuner said the car would make it to 260-280 whp if we had sorted out the check light..which is tps related
i was very impressed with even those result at 9psi. ANYHOW TO THE POINT

i am considering going turbo because of the limited boost superchargers could take(even though the one i have cud take 25psi belt slippage would be the greatest problem)

my question is would it be best to bore out my b18c or use a b20 from a crv?

does anybody have any experience with a b20b turbo??could they take big boost like a b18c ?
vs

I've seen 403 WHP made on a stock bore GSR.

This was a Procharged car though.

ATI > Vortec

Well since the Stock Bore GSR was a car I built. :-D

Vortech cars totally unimpress me has a Vortech hatchback and it was terrible (Solidly Built GSR Swap in it as well)

I would suggest a B18C, because in the end, I have seen some incredible numbers from them and it just takes a little time to look up these things yourself, the motor is just made better.

B18C > B20 in this aspect.

What are your ultimate power goals for the car? Regardless of the answer there, the GSR is going to be a better bet. The stock B20 sleeves aren't capable of holding a lot of power.

ditch the gsr, hold the supercharger. 2.0L 86mm bore = perfect honda set up. add a block guard + more boost to meet your power goal.

Personally I would stay away from the B20. FAR FAR AWAY...lol. Cylinder walls are too thin and are very proned to cracking. It seems as you have a pretty nice setup already. If you are going to bore out your GSR then I assume that you plan on building the block as well.

Id use an LS block before even looking at a B20.

Im not sure, but I think if you use an LS crank in your GSR, that will give you a little more displacement but feel free to do some research.

If you want some opinions from people with actual experience, check out the Forced Induction forum. You'll get great info there

Agreed, B20 for NA, but not for boost due to the sleeves.
