Default 95 cx head swap. I WILL MAKE POWER!

What is the best non vtec head to bolt onto a cx block assuming that I have 4 valve indents per piston? I am up for any bastard combo of head, intake, TB, cam. I don't want to open the bottom end- too complicated. Also, can I use my cx distributor? ECU? I love you people!

Isn't the 95' CX a 1.5L? Is it even compatible with a sohc vtec head or does the block need to be drilled?

You could slap on a 92-95 dx head but like everyone says, why? The time would not be worth it unless you are completely broke which then it would help out a little. A sohc vtec swap complete can be found for like $500 and would push your light cx to low 15's. It would also take about the same amount of time to swap a head or swap the motor.

It is so tempting to just toss in a different motor, even iif it cheap, but I wanted to do something different. I just want to build up my motor to about 140 hp max, at least until I get enough dough to properly swap in a b-series. I wanted to tinker with the little motor I have and maybe surprise a few people at the autox. If I discover that my pistons only have 2 indents, I'll grenade it and that will be my excuse for a new one.
