no vtec no codes
so i changed my clutch and axles, now vtec isnt working.
checked all wiring. tested the solenoid with an ohmmeter, ok, ran a wire to the positive batt term, clicked. checked the screen, clean.
vss connected, plugged in. speedo works
oil level is to the top dot.
vtec worked fine the day i started working on it.
any input appreciated, ive never had a problem like this and all my friends and i are stumped.

the one time i had that prob i changed the oil n put in some new one..apparently the oil i had in it did its time and began to thin out which cased my v-tech not to chip in ..its a long shot but u cud try it..i notice u said the oil was at the top but is the oil any good??it worked for me any how..i did all the stuff u did check wires and all nun worked.but it worked when i changed the oil..
i changed the oil maybe a week before the clutch went, i used a mobil 1 filter, which i never used before. i know vtec worked bc i engaged it as the clutch started slipping, so it worked fine.
however, you're not the only one to suggest that so ill try changing it when i get home this afternoon. i doubt it will work but thanks.
anyone else?

as of this evening i changed the oil/filter and plugs. still nothing. i let the car warm up pretty well too, fans were coming on. still no codes. this really sucks.
