thanks man, the passenger side in the hatch

why did you relocate it? and did you use all the bmw cables? what did you use to route back to the hatch? where did you route it? under the floor or under the carpet? Is your battery vented to outside the cabin?

sure man...the top is so random like large terminal....the 1st down is the battery the 2nd is like a smaller wire that runs with the battery cable for constant...you can see it plugged in at the bottom right...and the other one at the bottom left goes to the fuse box

it was re routed to the back already...but very poorly...he used like 16 gauge cable hahah! ...and i used all the bmw cable ...only the one cable, and its under the carpet, i didnt vent it as i wasnt sure the reason to vent it

X2! that would make it really easy to add more wires for: subs/amps, more lighting etc.
nice job

An overstrained battery can produce the explosive gas hydrogen and can also emit toxic fumes of sulfur dioxide? or something that smells like rotten eggs to the extreme. That usually only happens under severe stress conditions, like when the battery is dead or close to it, or being strained a lot.
Anyways, I used to work at Autozone, and any car that had the battery within the cabin used a battery with a vent tube that is otherwise sealed. I think the part number was 40-DL or 49-DL something along those lines. So a vented battery would definitely be an important consideration to me for safety's sake.
Cool mod though, did you have to cut the BMW cable short?

I never knew a battery would do that.. but we learned about that reaction in my chemistry lab today!.. The vent is a very good idea and makes sense.. I never knew about that set-up
good info!

ill deff go and check out the battery box at autozone then... but strangely enough the bmw cable was the perfect length ...its strange because the car was a lot longer ..and a 4 door

What I was talking about at Autozone was not a battery box (they might have one?), but I was speaking of a battery that includes a vent tube and is otherwise sealed part number 49-DL?.
