manual fan switch help??

Default manual fan switch help??

Hi I have crx and my fan aint coming on, while my temp rise like crazy....so I was wondering how to hook up a manual switch for the fan..so that it could come on when you wanted to??...what size switch amps is best..where should i hook it too??..any advice would be helpful thanks

Why not repair it correctly and install a new thermo fan switch? That's most likely the problem.

agreed.. don't be like the jackass who owned my car before me.. would you rather spend 10 minutes and a coolant top off to replace the switch, or 3 hours figuring out why the genius wiring job you just did makes your car smell like electric fire.

It's the 2 wire sensor on the back of the block below the intake next to the oil filter.

could also be the relay or fan went bad. make sure it works with power.
having had a car with a manual switch, it's best if the original system still works. i used a plain switch and relay to power the factory relay on the car. that way it came on by itself, or when i hit the switch.

but in my current crx, i think a switch is dead weight. the fan comes on when it's supposed to
