Default Is it necessary...

To remove the camshaft and rocker arm assembly if im just taking the head off to replace the head gasket?

Haynes says so but i have become weary of this god forsaken book they call a manual. Im buying a Helms as soon as im done with this.

Thanks in advance

Well i guess its a dam good thing i do not have a b series! I would actually like a b series though...

But i digress!

I cant get the head off. I've pulled. I haven't tried wedging anything in between the two because I dont want to damage the mating surfaces.
