im running a d16a engine with a manual tranni, and p08 which is a d15b ecu but not getn any vetch.... oh! and its standard harness too...why? am i using the wrong ecu?

 

Does the Solenoid work?
Might be a problem with you running a SOHC ECU on a DOHC Engine, not sure though.

 

yea we need to know what motor u have is it a d16a6 or a d16z6 or a d16y8 we need to know and what u mean stock harness stock never ment to have v tec

wait u have a b series motor on a single cam ecu is the ecu programmed for v tec

 

hey bro shouldnt you be using a pr3 or p28 ecu..im not sure they make p08..are you running ob0 or ob1...

 

hey man yea the p08 is vtec capable but do u have vtec wired up properly cause im sure u know that the plugs on most of the head look the same and jw is the speed sensor working?

 

the engine block says d16a, my speed sensor is working, the ecu says p08-901 and my harness is obd1

no they did make a straight D16a nothin else after it and its a sohc vtec its some sort of euro engine or something i think my friend has one in his eg i've never seen it either till then
