Default D16Y7 and P2P ECU problem

Bought a 2000 Honda civic ex coupe. It has a d16y7 non vtec motor. It has the p2p ecu and harness still for y8. It only revs out to 5300 rpms. Ran a scan tool came up O2 sensor and iat sensor. I replaced the iat sensor. Please help, thank you.

pretty plain you have the wrong ecu. poor running condition is most likely due to vtec ecu on a non vtec motor.

first step is to get the proper ecu for the y7 engine.

I bought a p2e ecu and it doesn't plug in. My cars harness has three big plugs and the ecu take two big ones and a really small one
