So I'm new to honda-tech but definitely not new to the honda scene. I introduced myself and my car in an early post. Well The other night.... I just destroyed this k20z1 engine... dealership says it's the worst blown engine they've gotten.... I made a video of what I've got so far. I am getting it back from the dealership on sunday so I will start ripping the head off and show more pictures. We took the header off and CHUNKS not pieces but chunks of piston were falling out, piston rings, around 7 valve stems and misc pieces everywhere. The vtec solenoid bearing snapped and engine just blew right up. Well here is the video and some pictures... enjoy my loss... Dealership says a new engine from them is $9,432. So this winter I am building a k24/k20 frankenstein and supercharging it.














3 of the 4 spark plugs look like this. I had to use a breaker bar to get them out!

Your right... omg all these years of searching for the answer to all of my questions and you solved it... I'm a moron. I bought a car to race it, I raced it, blew it up but the answer is simple, I'm a moron. The whole fact that I bought this car and knew what I was doing means nothing cause I'm a moron. I pay the bills on it, I'm buying the new engine, I drove it like it wanted to be driven. I didn't buy it jsut because it was beautiful, I bought it to drive the **** out of it and thats what I did. So I got an idea, lets insult someone you don't know because I had a great time enjoying my car the way I wanted. Your an idiot. I bought the car with the intent of pounding on it and pounding is what I did. It's just money. It's fixable, rebuildable. It's only going to get bigger and better until I move on to my next project which will probably loose another engine. I like taking my cars to the extreme. Don't tell me you've never raced your car, don't tell me you've never done a burn out just cause, don't tell me you've never goofed around with friends cause if you drive a honda your a liar. We all enjoy our cars and thats why we own them.

*if this post offends some of you, then it means you worry to much about other people. I'm not hurt about what happened. It happens, I'm definitely not the only person in this world to blow an engine. Especially not the K series which are known to blow all the time for over revs, miss shifts, and other problems like trannies. I love my car more than anything else in the world. So if you have a problem with someone you don't know blowing an engine, I gues to bad. Its not your problem, don't be a dick.

I wasn't trying to drift. We were playing with the new thousand dollar high speed slow motion camera I got. Oh no I wasted some tires...But I had fun doing. It's fun thats why.

For your info my car is a huge name in my city because it has made a big name for itself and for Honda. People fear the RSX more now than ever in my town, I have a buddy with a JRSC k20 who I hustle with. If I loose he beats them. Our two cars aren't rice and we don't do rice things. The tray drifting was just testing a new camera with lots of different ideas. And you know what, my crew has my back and I've already bought a new block. k24a2. So in no time flat I'll be up and ready and when you want to run your car like you do your mouth... feel free to come on down and visit me and the crew.
