Can the AC be kept with a HF manifold? All I see is the turbo compressor sitting where the AC compressor is?

Its really depends on the turbo configuration, Most of the time when people do Junkyard D-series HF/STD manifold setups the compressor sits on the driver side directly where the compressor would. I have tried mounting a 14b backwards and keeping the ac compressor but the downpipe did not have enough room.

14b and t-25 are more or less the same exact size in physical characteristics, even with a custom O2 housing I dont see how its possible.... The HF/STD Manifold brings that turbo very close to the block when mounting it compressor side on the right.

Your better off with a custom manifold...

call me a dick, call me whatever name you want, but 90% of the custom set ups i see look like ****. you can agree, you can disagree, but id rather fork out the extra bucks for quality craftsmanship. and yes, some custom turbo setups get a , to each his own i guess...

I could care less about the looks when I do mine on my 90hatch hehe, I'm not gonna try to win any car shows with a 90hatch. Its gonna be my beater/turbo car. Its' not called homemadeturbo for nothin

Abaz: Do you have any pics of it mounted the other direction? I wanna see how close it comes to the compressor.

Jeff, you should sell them. Gary and I aren't going to sell them anymore. The interest is waning. Everyone likes looking at your website anyway. Dropshop will probably pick up the design though. He has a design for T25's that may allow AC although it is really tight.

For the guy who wanted one, contact GJC on my website. We have a few of the last run left. When we are done, we will direct people to dropshop's website here: http://www.thedropshop.tv/

Later.

Well we have tried designing a few using your method of set screws, however it did not turn out the way I wanted. I did not like how much chanfering on the plate we had to do. I have a friend with a CNC machine that might start selling them through our site.. Maybe.. I aint in it for the money

bahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaaha my kit with front mount intercooler costs about $600 less than the cheapest greddy kit (the one without a BOV and intercooler), and will do just as much, or more than what a greddy kit could ever do. Spend all that extra for a 'quality' kit so it looks better. **** that hahaha
