Well i went to go into 2nd gear today and the car just over revved. So when I went to put the car in 3rd same thing and i can hear like a rattling from the tranny. I then soon noticed that it was doing this in every gear and the car was getting no power to the wheels. So when I parked it i noticed when i push the clutch in while in gear and rev the speedo stays at 0mph. When i looked under the car i see tranny fluid leaking. But when i put in any gear(mind it is very stiff and hard to put in gear when car is off or on and with clutch pushed) and let off the clutch I hear the rattling noise from tranny and see the speed shoot up the mph's.:umno: So im kinda stuck on what could be wrong with the car. Its a 92 gsr with b17a1 and ys1 tranny. Please help!!!!!

CV shaft could be broke, but still inside the boot. And the leaking could be a bad seal...

I guess, honestly, I'm not sure, but something similar to this has happened to me before and that is what it ended up being.

 

yea happened to me check your axles before assuming h worst.

 

Well it turned out I need a new transmission! Bummer!!! But thanks for all the help guys.
