i have an turbo b16 and i got a base map from xecrone in ny from my set up. the injector praying out to much fuel at start up. when i un plug the pluse injector box it runs for a few sec and shuts off. this motor hasnt be ran yet. so any ideas would be helpful its a 90 crxsi converted to obd 1

 

new map...i've had basemaps made and i had to remake them becuase it still didnt crank.

 

Is this a brand new motor, fresh build, 0 miles on the rings?

If so, tow it to your tuner and let them start it. The first few running minutes of a fresh engine are very important, you do not want to wash out the rings trying to make it run and drive on a basemap.

 

best thing would be to put stock 240cc injectors in it and start it with a stock ecu, to get a few heat cycles in it. thats how i do it when i do a new motor combo

 

i think its getting way to much fuel so ill change out the oil and and ecu and put in a stock ecu an injectors

 

Either that or with ur standalone tell it ur runnin smaller injectors like 550 or something, thats what i did to get it running then i went through the fuel map accordingly, then switched it back to 750...just a thought

key world your engine is getting toooo much fuel tow to tuner or get him to make a house call to bring your injectors down to stock level just to get to start up and break in the engine or like garage 808 hatch said put the stocks ones back on for the break in. One that is done tune it, tune it, tune it!!!! You said you got a base map from a tunner did you told him what injector you were using before he made you the base map. or you just ask for a base map

 

No tuner worth his salt would ever burn you a basemap without knowing some details about your build, including what size injectors you are using.
