Please help... Turbo timer unlocks my doors when timer stops
hey, ive got a 94 civic si. Just installed a hks turbo timer using a harness.... and when the timer stops the doors unlock... how do i stop this happening... ive tryed searching cant find anything. please help if you know the answer. ive got a toad alarm if that helps at all... could be the problem i dont know... thanks
You just have to re-program your alarm: It's your alarm locking the doors, not the turbo timer.
Alarms are usually by-default programmed to unlock the doors when you stop the car, as a "convenience" feature. I'll see if I can pull documentation to disable this for "TOAD" brand alarms.
E: hmm, security forum and searches have nothing about TOAD, a strong Googling would teach how to disable the convenience feature, but work time for me.
