Spun bearing ????

Default Spun bearing ????

If a block has a spun bearing, how would u tell? Im buying a GSR block and I wanna make sure ut doesnt have a spun bearing. Any help is appreciated.

you can tell by looking at the crank and rod bearings but you'd have to take apart the motor and i don't think that person would let you lol. but you also can hear it while running

It sounds like a loose bearing. Almost a knocking sound.

Simple. Take the oil pan and girdle off the lower end and visually check the condition of the rotating assembly. You could even go as far as to take off a couple rod caps and check.
