Default Do I need a relay to install more than one amplifier??

Headunit is a Dxz765mp clarion.

I'm wondering if i absolutely need a relay to trigger both amps from the remote wire. I was reading that most amps, to turn on, require 125 mA and that the average headunit supplies 500 mA from a remote lead.

So do i need a relay or could i simply run the remote to both amps via the same remote lead?

When I went to school, 125+125= 250, 250<500 so youre good. I know america's schools are in the s**tter but i think i was 'learned' right lol (jk)

you do not need a relay. just cut the remote wire and distribute it to both amps

Like it has been said you dont need a rely.
I find the easiest way to do it instead of running two wires back it to just run the one to amp number one. and then put a second rem. wire in amp number one and run that to amp number two. you will need either two power wires or a distrabution block though. make sure you have two different grounds though.
