Default cant turn the boost up past 15 lbs

i have an ls-t and have had up to 20lbs before i got a phearable chip and a 3 bar map. now when i try to turn it up it spools and when it gets to 15lbs the car dies and acts like boost cut on a dsm. kinda like im hitting a revlimiter. so i have it about 12 psi right now. is the chip? should i order another one?

High-tail it to the dyno.

please stop the madness, no chip, no afc, get yourself a proper tuning solution like hondata s200, s300, aem ems, neptune RTP, powerFC, some injectors, and a fuel pump if you don't already have them, drive off boost to a dyno if its close or tow your car and have it tuned right.

Get it tuned on a dyno you want to push the limits on the motor then at least becareful when you do it. Otherwise be prepared to buy another and go through all the bother of swapping it back in to have got no further.

i have 440s and a 255 walbro. now isnt the chip like a base map just like a hondata or crome would start with and then why couldnt i just fine tune it with a afc. and what difference is street tuning with wide band and dyno tuning with a wide band besides seeing the hp output? sorry if im being difficult all this and im sitting on s200 in my garage just dont wanna pay for the boost option and dyno tune right now. and blowing the motor is fine cuz im building one.

WTF are you thinking? You can't just turn up the boost, especially on basemaps. You shouldn't even be boosting on a basemap. What makes you think your AFR is anywhere near 12? You can't tune timing accurately on the street.
If you want to blow up your engine and not listen to anyone's advice, why post?

I think this is a lost cause. If you want to blow your engine up, have fun. Beware of FOD making its way into your turbo and messing up more than what you had planned.

Basically, get the damn thing tuned and quit being an idiot! Its a wonder people think turbo setups are unreliable. We have people like this running around
