tuning question
i want to tune my car and up the boost but was wondering if i can tune it at 5psi right now and after tune be able to run 7 psi, or do i need to tune it at 7psi? (i don't have a boost controler right now.)

dude how so?
im curious if u tune a setup at high boost then run at half the boost,
how are the maps going to run tuned at a boost level where no adjustments have been made?

I think what he meant was you tune for your boost area up to your max boost. I could be wrong though.
Either way, if your in a serious bind, and want to chance it, tune it for 5 psi, and then make sure that 7 psi column is a bit richer, and a bit less timing. I don't know, 5psi, what is this for, type R. If its high compression i wouldn't chance it, if its say a y8 or something lower like that, prolly can get away with that one.
However, in my opinion, you should wait til you get the MBC and then tune it for 10 psi

Uhm...Say you are running 20 psi.
Start at 10psi...which is your wastegate spring, assumingly.
Add Boost and Keep tuning until you hit 20.
