i have a 99dx and i just dropped a d16y8 out of a 99ex in today...i have a 99si wiring harness..everything worked fine until i got to the distributor...my harness has a square 10 wire plug, and the dizzy is a smaller rectangle plug with 8 wires...anyone have any ideal of what i need to do?

 

ive been looking around, will a 96-98 distributor work since it has the bigger square plug? or is there a easier route?

why are you using a si wiring harness? you should use the proper harness so this stuff wont happen

 

becasue my car had a si engine, and my y8 engine didnt come with a harness...so i have no other choice
