whats the best oil filter? i use oem honda filters. are their better ones then oem?

 

OEM is good. Mobil 1, K&N, Wix.

 

mobil 1 is good but kinda expensive

 

oem or purolator pure one

 

i heard s2000 filters from 00-03

 

Does it really make a difference? Is our engines going to have a longer life with a better oil filter? I use K&N oil filters btw. Its just easier to remove due to that nut design at the bottom of the filter.

well lets see......proly the filter made for the actual vehicle by the manufacturer of the vehicle..... BTW " parts that almost fit, almost work" - Honda of America

 

is it ok to get an oil change without replace the oil filter? is it good for another 3000 miles? I did an oil change myself but i had a difficult time removing the oil filter, so I just leave it, but ill definitely change it the next time i do my oil change. is it ok?

 

yes its ok... you wouldn't wanna do it again though.

fram that thing up and cal it a day.

 

Fram FTW it does the job and its cheap... but if you want piece of mind OEM, K&N or Mobil 1. does the trick.

I run FRAM for a 01 RSX oil filters on my B-series great for that increase in oil pressure. Just doo it.....
