Default 89 honda crx 1.6 No tdc marks on crankshaft pulley. Help!

I just changed my timing belt on my 89 honda crx 1.6si. The timing belt skipped a couple teeth when I was running the engine through its cycle to seat the belt. I put the crankshaft pulley so the key slot on the pulley lines up with the timing pointer on the lower timing belt cover. Now it seems like the car does not have as much torque and i'm thinking that the timing might be off a tooth or two. My acura was off a tooth when I changed the timing belt and it seemed like I lost my VTEC. Once positioned right I had the VTEC back. Anyways my question is. I don't have any marks on my crankshaft pulley (they have worn off). Did I position the crankshaft pulley right? I know the camshaft pulley is correct, but I am not quite sure on the crankshaft. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

on the crank gear not the pulley there will be a dot. remove bolt and pulley and plastic, line the dot with arrow on the block. make sure ya time it on a compression stroke

If you look closely, you can see the marks for ignition
timing and then to the right of those is the TDC mark.

You can also pull the #1 or #4 spark plug and use
a long screwdriver to "feel" of the pistons position..

You can also remove the spark plugs and put straws into the cylinders. turn the crank counter clockwise till all four cylinders are TDC.
The marks on my crank gear are almost wiped out as well. The paint might be gone but I'd bet the marks are still there.

If you can turn you crank and get all 4 pistons to TDC, you have a big problem.

You could always replace the pulley with a new or used one that has the marks. You will need the 3 other marks for ignition timing if they are worn off also.

well here is the easiest way that i was taught...

pull the number 1 spark plug out take your oil dip stick put it in where you took out the spark plug... then spin the engine over using a ratchet and the right size socket...

turn the engine by hand and where ever the HIGHEST point the dip stick stays at.. is TDC

if you look on the gear behind the crank pulley there is a circle or triangle mark, which matches with another mark on the oil pump assembly.
match them up, and bolt everything back together make sure the cam is set to tdc as well.

All these are good suggestions and correct.

Personally I prefer the stick in #1 spark plug hole method. Once it is at TDC, you can turn the cam gear to where the notch points to the arrow while 'UP' is up. At that point you will have your crank and cam at TDC, and you can put the belt on.
