i used plain jane 10w-30. a lot of people recommend honda mtf and gm synchromesh though i believe. assuming this is a 5spd. i suppose you might have an auto in which case just use normal atf

i was saying that in the event you had an auto tranny then you should just use standard atfl, since you didnt specify if it was a 5 speed. i would just use standard 10w-30 and call it a day

2 quarts of Honda MTF. pull the drain bolt. empty old oil. put bolt back. take off fill bolt. put car on all for wheels on level surface. take off back up switch sensor pour in oil till it trikles out of fill bolt. its like 1.8 quarts

way to be a dick douche. the vss method works but i forgot that on the d-series the reverse switch is on the top of the tranny, where as on a b tranny the reverse switch is horizontal and near the bottom of the trans.

my friends and i use 5w-20 through the main tranny drain bolt.

from d-series.org



i think 10w-30 is too thick for transmission fluid.
