hooking amp to house stereo?!?!

Default hooking amp to house stereo?!?!

does ne one kno how to hook up an amp to a mini house stereo?? keep in mind dont have subwoofer out put on my stereo and its only a 124w system.. i have an 10inch woofer a 300 watt cheezy amp and a car battery i just want a lil more kick in my system... ne ideas?!?!

DONT DO IT.. you need a power inverter (ac to dc) unless you wanna burn your house down

just go to nadshack and pick up a 10 AMP power inverter. This will give you your power. From there, jsut hook it up like you would any other car amp. I would ditch the car battery, that dosn't sound safe at all.

BTW, i am running a MTX 240 and a 15" Kicker comp for my Home Theater sub.

Man, i had a friend who had the worst set-up in his room. It was all car audio. He had a cd deck,2 12's in a sealed box, and it was all hooked up and powered by a battery charger. It was horrible! I thought someone would die from that set-up.
