Default vtec not activate

I install h22 in my brother ef and the vtec dont want engage.I made obdo to obd1 convertion and vtec wire harness and i use accord obd1 dizzy guts inside of h22 shell any can help me.Iam running chipped p28

Check your Ground wire coming from the vtec noid.. if it is infact grounded..
I'd check your oil.
Take the noid off and clean the screen possiblely..
make sure your chipped ecu has vtec engaged.

is the tach and Speedomiter working? if not, check you vss (speed sensor).
