Whats the correct way to rotate the crankshaft pulley?
Im removing my transmission on my 96 Ex auto trans.
Its to replace a leaking Rear main seal.

in case you were asking which direction to turn it, that would be counter-clockwise.
If I am rotating the crank during a timing belt change I just slip the pulley back on and use the special tool to rotate it. If I'm just doing a valve lash adjustment or something where I'm not removing the pulley, then I just use a 19mm socket on the crank pulley bolt.
