use a 19MM socket and a long handle ratchet. Honda also has a special tool you can rent from a parts store.

Pull out the spark plugs; it will make your life much easier.

in case you were asking which direction to turn it, that would be counter-clockwise.

If I am rotating the crank during a timing belt change I just slip the pulley back on and use the special tool to rotate it. If I'm just doing a valve lash adjustment or something where I'm not removing the pulley, then I just use a 19mm socket on the crank pulley bolt.

I have yet to personally see one for rent in any parts store around me.

What stores have you found that rent this tool?

The advance auto near my dealer has them. Both sizes. But I guess it's rare?
